At the risk of sounding simplistic, please
consider this proposition.
Do women know exactly when ovulation
occurs?
How many women really take the time to investigate this e.g.
by examining of the discharge in the monthly reproductive cycles?
Do women even believe that ovulation
can be established at all?
Have women gone a step further to examine the “rule of
thumb” the medical fraternity uses by testing if ovulation
really occurs at mid-cycle in their particular case? Most women
seem to intuitively know the onset of menstruation, rather than
when they ovulate.
Why is this so important?
It is important because for many couples wanting to become pregnant,
because effecting sexual intercourse at the ideal time when
their combined fertility is at its greatest may all that may
be needed for conception. When we take into account the chance
of a typical couple of proven fertility, conceiving through
a single menstrual cycle being not more than about 25%, this
becomes even more important.
